Dr Dan Costin
Approved DBR Consultant supervised by Dr Frank Corrigan
I'm a clinical psychologist working with adults in private practice, drawing from somatic and neuroscience-informed approaches that attend to the relational, cultural, and physiological dimensions of mental health and wellbeing.
Deep Brain Reorienting
Developed by Dr Frank Corrigan, DBR is a transformational trauma psychotherapy that aims to access and process unresolved experiences by tracking the sequence of physiological responses that occurred when the deep brain was initially alerted to a threat or attachment disruption.
This conversation with Frank and DBR Trainer Sarah Jenkins provides an accessible overview of DBR and how it can support the treatment of PTSD and other trauma-related conditions.
